NOTES:
1. This program DOES NOT fulfill the MACRAO Transfer Agreement. Additional
math or science credits are needed to fulfill this requirement. The GVSU
minimum transfer admission grade point average is 2.50.
2. Students will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in English composition
upon transferring to Grand Valley State University. Please consult the GVSU
Admissions Office for further details. LCC courses other than those appear-
ing on this guide should be checked for transferability to the four-year
institution.
3. Since many of the prerequisite courses are not available at LCC, students may
want to consider transferring to GVSU after one year.

5. The degree in physical education is designed for the preparation of teachers,
coaches, athletic trainers, and fitness/wellness leaders. Opportunities in
physical education include positions as: Teachers (K-12), coaches, intramural
directors, recreation leaders, athletic officials, athletic administration,
consultants, camp directors, youth leaders, wellness/fitness leaders and
administrators, athletic trainers and personal trainers.

requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the

7. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
