1. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement guide for appropriate LCC courses.
2. CMU expects its graduates to demonstrate competency in three areas: English
composition, mathematics, and speech. A grade of "C" (2.00) or better in the
following Lansing Community College courses found on this guide will fulfill
these competency requirements: WRIT 121/131, WRIT/ENGL 122/132; MATH 112 or
higher (except MATH 114, 115); SPCH 120/130.
3. Electives to apply toward minor or other degree requirements which are listed
in the current CMU Bulletin under B.A. or B.S. degree requirements.
4. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must fulfill specific graduation
requirements including the LCC general education core requirements. See the
LCC Catalog for additional details.
5. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading,
and writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take
the Basic Skills Assessment tests in the Assessment Center (GVT 2100) prior
to registration. For testing hours, call (517) 267-5500.
