
Lansing Community College is tobacco free to provide a healthy and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Since 1998 LCC has had some form of prohibition on the use of tobacco products on campus. LCC has a goal of being tobacco free by May 12, 2008. Tobacco-free campuses provide students and employees a safe and healthy environment.
Timeline
January to May, 2008 - Tobacco-free policy awareness and education efforts will begin in January and be ongoing every semester.
Beginning May 12, 2008 - Tobacco use will not be permitted on campus property.
