(Formerly Computer-Aided Drafting/Design Technology)
MET Design courses give you hands-on experience with Solid Edge and Unigraphic software which are used by many manufacturing firms nationwide. Traditional Drafting techniques are paired with the latest Computer-Aided Design software to provide student s with a powerful combination of drafting knowledge and CAD software ability.
Students who successfully complete this program leave with a core set of skills that can be applied to many industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Consumer Products.
The MET Design program offers two (2) Associate in Applied Science degrees and two (2) certificates. In addition, two transfer agreements with Ferris State University are in place.
