FOOD BANK GETS ASSISTANCE — The LCC Student Life and Leadership Office and the Student Leadership Academy led a food drive at the college during April to assist the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
The organizations supplied most LCC buildings with collection receptacles during April. On April 30 the collected items were delivered to the LCC Spring Fling in the Washington Square Mall, and later delivered to the Food Bank to assist area low-income families.
Student Life and Leadership Director Denise Harris said her department set a goal to collect 200 food items. To her delight, LCC students, teachers and staff came through by donating about 800 items. "'Community' is our middle name at Lansing Community College," Harris said proudly.

MAKE YOUR FEELINGS KNOWN — The LCC Student Advisory Committee to the President meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month throughout fall and spring semesters.
