Monday (8/24)

  • Discover the Keys to Success- Student Life open house (9am-4pm) Gannon Building 252.04
    • Stop in to Student Life to find out about extracurricular activities. Join a student organization! Find out how you can write for the student newspaper (The Lookout)
    • Pick up your Keys to Success Scavenger Hunt flyer and take it to each of the locations listed to have your form validated. Receive important information about the services available through each location. Turn in your completed flyer to the Student Life Office by 5pm on August 26th to be entered into a drawing for 1 of 4 awesome prizes:
      • $50 Phil's Gift Certificate
      • $25 Phil's Gift Certificate
      • $25 Phil's Gift Certificate
      • $25 CASE Credit Union Card

The drawings will be held August 27th at noon in the Student Life Office. There will be four winners total.

Tuesday (8/25)

  • Catch the Spirit Day (9am-4pm) Gannon Building 252.04
    • Show your school spirit! Any student wearing Lansing Community College gear will get to spin the Student Life Prize Wheel!

Wednesday (8/26)

  • Campus Resource and Student Organization Fair (10am-2pm) Outside the Washington Square Mall
    • The key to college success is academics, community service and extracurricular activities. Speak with representatives from different areas on campus regarding their services and opportunities. Get involved by joining a registered student organization. Don't forget to turn in your Keys to Success Scavenger Hunt flyer today! (Rain location Gannon 244)
  • Welcome Week for Student Veterans

Thursday (8/27)

  • T.G.I. Thursday (12pm-4pm) Gannon Building 252.04
    • The Keys to Success Scavenger Hunt drawing will kick off the event at noon while students enjoy refreshments. Meet new friends, and pick up free literature that addresses substance abuse awareness at this final Welcome Week event.
  • Read, engage, and grow with One Book #OneLCC - Lansing Community College's common read. (11am-1pm) LCC Library, TLC Building 2nd floor
    • Attend this event to learn more about special programs and events associated with our 2015-2016 title, The True American: Murder and Mercy in Texas by New York Times columnist and author Anand Giridharadas. Register now!
