Lansing Community College Ombudsman

LCC's Ombudsman assists students with Lansing Community College processes and identification of appropriate departments or programs to effectively address educational issues and concerns.

The ombudsman is also an "agent for change," recommending modifications and improvements to rules, regulations, policies and procedures which are unclear, and equitable or unfair. As well, the ombudsman often acts as an adviser, counselor and educator. The ombudsman provides students with information about existing channels for appeals and grievances, support services available at the college, and assists students in the use of these services and procedures.
