Where do I pay my tuition?
Tuition and registration fees may be paid in several ways at Lansing Community College.
- Online payment with Visa or MasterCard Log into Banner Student Account.
- By Phone with Visa or MasterCard. Call (517) 483-1005.
- By Fax with Visa or MasterCard. Please use the Fee Payment Form. Fax to (517) 483-9858.
- By Mail with check, money order or credit card information. Please include your Student Number on checks and money orders. Allow 4-5 business days if mailing in payment.
- In Person with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. Please call (517) 483-1272 for current hours. Hours are extended during registration. Please see Schedule Book for open hours, or go to Course Schedules and Registration and click on the Payments and Refunds link for the specific semester.
- By Drop Box - located at the door of the Student Finance Office in the Gannon Building.

When is my payment due?
Due dates are based on the day you register. You will receive an email notice when a bill is available to view in student self service. View current semester registration and payment due dates.

What types of payment do you accept?
Lansing Community College accepts cash, checks, money orders, Visa and MasterCard.

Can I pay for someone else's classes?
Yes, but you must have their student number and the amount they owe.

How can I get a receipt?
Call (517) 483-1272 to request a receipt for the amount of tuition and fees paid. Receipts must be mailed to address on our computer system. Addresses are changed at Enrollment Services (517) 483-1200. Receipts can also be obtained online, from your Star Port account under account detail by term.

Can I get a receipt that shows what tuition I paid for income tax purposes?
Yes, a copy of your schedule, after you have paid for your tuition and fees, will reflect the amount paid and serves as a receipt. You will also receive a 1098T at the end of the tax year, provided that Lansing Community College has a valid mailing address and your social security number on file, which reflects the amount of your charges for tuition and fees for the tax year.

Can you tell me if my son or daughter paid their tuition?
Only if your son or daughter is still under the age of 18. This is due to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

Can I cash an LCC check here?
No, however we can provide you with a list of area banks that cash Lansing Community College checks.

How do I get a refund?
Lansing Community College automatically processes refunds to students who have dropped classes, have a credit balance due to financial aid or had classes canceled, according to a specific Refund Policy.
Refunds are processed at set times each semester. It could be possible that you will qualify for a refund and the refund will not be processed for several weeks. If you have any questions about the refund policy please contact our office at (517)483-1272.

The registration fee pays some of the costs of the registration operation.

How do I get a transcript?
LCC transcripts are requested through Enrollment Services. They are paid for at the Student Finance Office. The cost of transcripts is $5.00 per copy. We accept cash, check, MasterCard or Visa as a method of payment. Please allow three-five business days to have a transcript processed.

Is this where I get a Financial Aid Credit Balance Refund?
Financial Aid refunds are processed for students according to an assigned schedule each semester. Please contact Financial Aid to inquire about qualifying for aid.

Can you tell me if I have a Financial Aid Credit Balance?
This information should be requested in person by the student with his/her LCC ID and second piece of ID in hand. This is due to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

Can I get a copy of my schedule?
You can obtain a copy of your schedule in your Star Port account, under the registration menu. Schedules are printed and mailed automatically to students who have made changes to their account or registration provided LCC has an active mailing address. Requests for copies of schedules to be turned into employers may be made at the Student Finance Office (517) 483-1200, Enrollment Services Office.

Is there an ATM on campus?
There are two ATMs located on campus. There is one Capital Area School Employees Credit Union machine located on the 2nd floor of the Gannon Building. There is also a National City ATM located at the northwest entrance of the Gannon Building, 2nd level from parking facility, in the lobby by Parking Services (Room 280).

Can I register for classes here?
The Student Finance Office accepts payment for classes after you have registered. Please see the Registration Information in the Schedule Book or go to the online schedule book for your best opportunity to register. You can also call (517) 483-1200.
