TECHNICAL CAREERS DIVISION

  • Edwin C. Bergmann Memorial Scholarship
    Recipients shall live in-district, be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits in any Technology program and working toward an associate degree or certificate. Financial need is the primary consideration.
     

  • Jan and Joe Foster Technology Careers Scholarship
    Scholarship recipients shall live in-district and enroll for a minimum of 12 credits in a Technology Careers program. Financial need will be considered and a minimum 3.0 GPA must be maintained.
     

  • William Darr Scholarship
    Recipients may be enrolled in any Technical Careers program and reside in-district.  The student must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed a minimum of 20 credits within any Technology Careers program.

  • A.I.A. Mid-Michigan Chapter Architecture Fellowship Award
    This award is intended for a graduating student within the Architecture program with plans to transfer to a four-year institution for an advanced degree in architecture. Recipients are selected by the department. Proof of acceptance by the accredited college/university is required.
     

  • Albert White Residential Building Program Scholarship
    Recipients shall be enrolled in the Residential Building Program for a minimum of 6 credits. Financial need will be considered.
     

  • Budzynski Pre-Architectural Scholarship
    This scholarship was established in memory of D.S. “Bud” Budzynski to benefit selected students enrolled in the pre-architectural programs. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum of 6 credits.
     

  • Greater Lansing Home Builders Association Scholarship
    This scholarship is intended for students who are enrolled in the Building Trades program. Recipients shall live in-district, be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits, and maintain good academic standing.
     

  • Jack Drew Art and Landscape Architecture Scholarship
    Recipients must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits in LCC's Art program or Landscape Architectural program. Recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, and live in-district.
     

  • Siemens Building Technologies Scholarship
    This scholarship is intended for students who are enrolled in the enrolled in Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC) or Alternative Energy Management programs.  Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and enroll in a minimum of 6 credits.
     

  • Alton and Jan Granger Scholarship
    High School graduates who are residents of Ingham, Eaton or Clinton County who are enrolled or planning to enroll in any pre-engineering program. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum of 12 credits and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
     

  • Dart Foundation Pre-Engineering Scholarship
    This scholarship is intended for in-district students pursuing their first degree and enrolled in any Pre-Engineering program. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum of 6 credits and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
     

  • Gustave A. and Margarite Olofsson Computer Integrated Manufacturing Scholarship
    This scholarship may be awarded to a high school graduate of Ingham, Eaton, or Clinton County pursuing any of the Manufacturing Technology programs. Recipients shall enroll for a minimum 12 credits and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.

  • IBEW Union 665/NECA Electrician Scholarship for Women
    This scholarship is intended for women pursuing a career as an electrician or telecommunications installer and is a resident of the SLIICE area.
     

  • Jet Engineering Inc. Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to in-district residents pursuing an associate degree in any of the following areas: CAD/CAM engineering technician; computerized numerical control programmer; drafting and design; machinist toolmaker; or quality assurance. Recipients shall maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
     

  • John "Tony" Watson Memorial Scholarship Fund
    This scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Manufacturing and Engineering program or Healthcare program.  Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.  Financial need is considered.
     

  • Joseph C. Sloane Education Scholarship
    Recipients shall be enrolled in the Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program, reside in-district, and enroll in a minimum of 6 credits.  Financial need is considered.
     

  • Kendall Electric Scholarship
    Recipients shall be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits in their second year of the Electrical Technology program and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
     

  • Leroy F. Johnson Machine Trades Scholarship
    Recipients shall be enrolled in LCC’s Machine Trades program with a minimum of 6 credits. Recipients shall have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
     

  • Talbert and Leota Abrams Foundation Civil Engineering Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to in-district students enrolled for a minimum of 12 credits in the Civil Engineering Technology program. Financial need will be considered.

  • AeroGenesis Aviation Scholarship
    Recipients shall be residents of the SLIICE area (Shiawassee, Livingston, Ingham, Ionia, Clinton, Eaton County) and enrolled in the Aviation Maintenance or Avionics program. Financial need will be considered.
     

  • Aviation Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to students in the Aviation Technology program.
     

  • Calvin W. Smith Memorial Scholarship
    Recipients shall be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits in the Automotive program. Financial need will be considered. Preference will be given for graduates of Portland High School.

  • David A. Lorenz Memorial Scholarship
    Recipients must be enrolled in a transportation program with a minimum enrollment of 9 credits. The student should be obtaining their first education degree or a student now pursuing another occupation. Financial need will be considered.
     

  • Douglas W. McGiveron Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will pay the full cost of tuition and fees for the five-week Truck Driver Training program. Recipients must live in-district, enroll for at least 9 credits, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
     

  • George Liskey Memorial Scholarship
    Scholarship recipients shall be enrolled in the Automotive Technology program, live in-district, and carry a minimum of 6 credits.
     

  • Gerald and Dorothy Francis Scholarship
    Students must be enrolled in the Aviation Flight, Aviation Maintenance, or Avionics program. They shall maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need..
     

  • Mason Auto Body Repair Career Scholarship
    This scholarship is intended for students pursuing a career in Auto Body Technology. Recipients will maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA. Financial need will be considered.
     

  • Newberry Aviation Scholarship Sponsored by Sponsor 5 of the Experimental Aircraft
    Recipients shall be enrolled in Aviation flight, Aviation Electronics Technology, or Aviations maintenance technology programs.  Selected recipients must reside in-district, be first year students, enroll in a minimum of 12 credits, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.  Preference will be given to those in the Aviation Flight Technology program.
     

  • Pam Catlin Women in Aviation Scholarship
    Recipients shall be enrolled in the Aviation Technology program. Preference will be given to female applicants. Financial need will be considered.
     

  • Ron Burke Help-A-Wrench Scholarship
    Recipients shall be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits in the Automotive Technology program. Financial need will be considered.
     

  • Siena Heights University Scholarship
    This scholarship is intended for students enrolled in the Aviation Program. Recipients shall be in-district residents, enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits, and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
     

  • Steven P. Dionise Aviation Scholarship
    This scholarship is intended for students in the Aviation Maintenance or Avionics programs. Recipients shall be enrolled for a minimum of 12 credits and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need will be considered.
