Using the Online Admissions Application
This is the recommended way to submit your admission application. Most online applications proceed through our self-service system without staff assistance. Those that do require staff assistance reviewed within 24 hours Monday-Friday (except holidays).
International students (any entry visa type) are not currently eligible to use the on-line application. For information on how to apply visit www.lcc.edu/admissions/interstu.

Read the instructions on this page (you may want to print a copy to refer to) and then click the link at the bottom to open the application form.

Choose ‘Apply for Admission’ from the self-service menu. Click on “First time user account creation’ link. Carefully read the instructions for creating your Login ID and PIN. Keep this information in a safe place; you will need it later to access your permanent ID.

When you have created your Login and PIN, click Login to open the application pages.

Begin your on-line application by reading the information text and choosing an application type. The choices you make on each page become a permanent part of your education record at Lansing Community College. We strongly recommend that you read the text on each application page before completing the page.

When you have completed all the application pages; click the ‘Application is Complete’ button to submit your form to us.

Click on the Home link and verify your information.

You will receive an acknowledgment page which indicates that your application has been submitted. We strongly recommend that you read this page carefully as it will tell you how to proceed to the next steps toward registration activities. It will also provide information about when you will receive your acceptance letter.
If you have questions about completing the online application form, please contact Enrollment Services at 517.483.1200 and select the Admissions options.
By paper application - Download a paper admission application (PDF) or contact the Admissions off ice at (517) 483-1200 to have a paper application mailed to you.
- Complete all pages of the application. Make sure you have completed all the required information (marked with an *). Don’t forget to sign and date your form.
- Fax or mail your form to our office. See the information below. Or, you may deliver it to Enrollment Services, Gannon Building Room 203.

All applicants will receive a letter regarding their admission to LCC (not to a specific program). If you do not receive your letter within 14 business days, please call the Admissions Office at (517) 483-1200 or email us at admissions@lcc.edu.

Campus Tours
Tours of the downtown campus are available without appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 3 p.m. from the Welcome Center, Room 221, Gannon Building. To register for a campus tour, go to www.lcc.edu/admissions/campusvisit. or call (517) 483-1957. Tours are also included with LCC orientation programs. Tours of West Campus are available by appointment only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please call (517) 267-5452 to schedule an appointment for a West Campus tour.
