Phlebotomy Externship Course Information
This course is designed to enable the student to apply procedures learned in CHSE 143, Phlebotomy Technician, to a clinical laboratory setting. While at the worksite (clinical laboratory), students will be under the supervision of a preceptor. The course includes required lectures which cover professionalism, resume writing, and interviewing skills; a practical review of techniques; and worksite experience.

Minimum 2.5 in CHSE 143 within 1 year and Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 4
