We have an annual service agreement with JCR Business Equipment
Company to service all fax machines (except Konicas) on campus.
To call in equipment for repair, please do the following:

Call JCR at (517)487-1521 and reference LCC purchase order #4438

Provide the fax serial number and location

Give your name and phone number
The service agreement with JCR provides the following:

All parts necessary to keep equipment in proper operating condition
-
Emergency service calls between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday -
Friday
-
Shop repair when required
-
One cleaning per year
Xerox copiers are repaired on a Time and Materials basis. Please
input a Oracle requisition for an estimated cost of $500 to have
your copier repaired. This amount will not be spent if your repair
costs are lower. It is $208 for the first 30 minutes, and $39 for
each additional 15 minutes. Parts are extra.
All Konica faxes and copiers are serviced by Albin Business Centers.
Call Albin Business Centers at (800)909-3117 and ask for the
Service Department.
Provide the fax or copier equipment ID number located on a red metal
tag. (The tag is located on
either the left hand side of the copier or the right hand side of
the fax.
Give your name, phone number and verify your building and room
number.

Annual preventative maintenance cleaning
and lubrication

IBM Parts required to keep equipment
operational.

Emergency service calls at response time
between 1-4 hours.

Service calls are to be answered
promptly at no charge for travel time or mileage during normal
working hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Replacement parts to be at no charge.
Your feedback on vendor performance is important to us. Please let
