LAPPG's Purpose:
Foster the advancement in the public purchasing profession;
Promote a supplier pool representative of the Lansing area business tax base;
Provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas and information among persons interested or engaged in the field of public purchasing;
Develop standards and specifications for purchasing and to encourage the concept of cooperative buying.
