Do you want a better life for you or your family? Reaching that goal means learning new skills, training for a new career through a degree or certificate, or transferring to a four-year university. Getting there starts with filling out a Lansing Community College admission application. Applying for admission early is highly recommended.
Summer Semester 2008 begins June 6

We accept the following individuals for admission:
- Adults 18 years of age or older
- High school graduates
- Current high school students in grades 9-12
- Current home school students ages 14-17
- International students (see link below)
- Guest students from other colleges and universities (see link below)
Apply to LCC by one of the following:
After completing the LCC college admission application, you’ll receive an official letter by mail within 10 business days after your application has been submitted or processed. The letter will contain your student number which is needed to take assessment tests and sign up for orientation.
While waiting for your acceptance letter:
- Find out more information on where to go to for assessment testing or to see if you have other test scores, completed courses, or degrees that may qualify you for a waiver.
- Sign up for student orientation to meet with an advisor, create a class schedule and recognize skills needed for your success. To attend orientation, you must pre-register on the Web or call the Counseling and Advising Center at (517) 483-1904.
