Downtown Lane Closures and Reductions - Sept. 13th

The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence March

The City of Lansing Public Service Department announces to accommodate the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence March, the following lane reduction and street closings will be in effect on Tuesday, September 13, 2011.

Lane reductions between 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM include:

• Capitol Avenue between Ionia Street and Ottawa Street;

• Michigan Avenue between City Hall Garage access and Capitol Avenue;

• Grand Avenue between Allegan Street and Michigan Avenue.

Through Access Restricted between 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM include:

• Washington Square between Michigan Avenue and Ottawa Street (will be closed to thru traffic);

• Washington Square between Ottawa Street and Ionia Street (will be closed to thru traffic).

Street closures between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM include:

• Capitol Avenue between Ottawa Street and Michigan Avenue;

• Grand Avenue between Michigan Avenue and Ottawa Street;

• Ottawa Street between Grand Avenue and Capitol Avenue.

Access to local area businesses, will be maintained when possible. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.

North Capital Ramp Closure - July to September

The City of Lansing has decided to close the North Capital Ramp for restoration from July 6th to September 9th. Students and staff are advised to seek alternate parking in other LCC parking lots around campus.

LCC Campus Shuttle Service Update

Lansing Community College will not have a shuttle between the Main Campus and West Campus.

• Attention: You must use your StarCard at ALL times when entering or exiting college paid parking areas, even if the gate arms are raised or broken. If you fail to do so, your StarCard will be confiscated by the card reader!
• TAKE CARE OF YOUR STARCARD! Lost, stolen or damaged StarCards are subject to a replacement fee of $15.
• Remember! You can add monetary value to your StarCard by using a personal check or credit/debit card at the Parking and ID Services, Room 215.1 during our current office hours.
