Driving Suggestions and Directions to LCC's Gannon Parking Ramp
If driving please consider arriving early,
possibly 45 minutes early; also, consider carpooling or using the
bus (CATA bus passes sold at the Parking & ID Services Office).
To get to Lansing Community College’s downtown campus and to
the Gannon Parking Ramp please follow these alternate routes:
1) From the west and north-west: use Saginaw Street
eastbound to Capitol Avenue, turn right onto Capitol Avenue and
proceed to Shiawassee Street, turn left onto Shiawassee Street and
go to Grand Avenue, turn left onto Grand Avenue proceeding to the
Gannon Parking Ramp.
2) From the north and north-west there are two
routes:
a. If coming
by US 127: take US 127 southbound to the Saginaw Street/Grand River
exit, after exiting turn right onto E. Grand River (once past Wood
Street stay to the left on Grand River as the street
becomes Oakland Avenue) and proceed westbound to Cedar Street, turn
left onto Cedar Street and go to Shiawassee Street, turn right onto
Shiawassee Street and go to Grand Avenue, turn right onto Grand
Avenue proceeding to the Gannon Parking Ramp.
b. If coming
by N. East Street/US 27: take N. East Street southbound to Grand
River Avenue, turn right onto E. Grand River and proceed Capitol
Avenue, turn left onto Capitol Avenue, and go to Shiawassee Street,
turn left onto Shiawassee Street and go to Grand Avenue, turn left
onto Grand Avenue proceeding to the Gannon Parking Ramp.
3) From the east, south-east or south by US 127/496, take
the Larch Street/Cedar Street exit and proceed northbound on Larch
Street to Shiawassee Street, turn left onto Shiawassee Street and go
to Grand Avenue, turn right onto Grand Avenue proceeding to the
Gannon Parking Ramp.
4) From the west or south-west by 496, take the Pine
Street/Walnut Street exit, turn left onto Walnut Street and proceed
northbound to Shiawassee Street, turn right onto Shiawassee Street
and go to Grand Avenue, turn left onto Grand Avenue proceeding to
the Gannon Parking Ramp.
