LCC Transportation Options
Main Campus (Downtown) Bus Service Options
CATA has 13 fixed-route buses that serve LCC. Service is available seven days a week, starting at 5:30AM on the weekdays and operating as late as 11PM. Buses serve LCC at several bus stops and shelters located on Shiawassee, Grand and Capitol.
NEW West Campus Bus Service Options from Main Campus
Beginning August 21, CATA will offer service to and from main and west campus with an extension to the existing Route 12. This new service will operate Monday through Friday (no weekends and not on LCC's Spring Break). Pick up will be on Grand Avenue and drop off will be on Capitol Avenue. The bus stop at west campus will be located to the side of the main building entrance and will be marked with a CATA sign. Students will be able to buy a pass for a discounted $40 with proof of registration in a West Campus class at Police and Public Safety located in the Gannon Building - 2nd Floor in the StarZone.

LCC East Bus Service Options from Main Campus
From LCC's Main Campus, board CATA's Route 1 bus at the shelter on Shiawassee, just west of Grand Avenue. The bus will continue to the CATA Transportation Center. Stay on the bus and continue to ride to the East Lansing bus stop on Grand River Avenue and Bogue (in front of the 7-11 Store). Get off the bus at 7-11, cross Bogue and go to the bus stop in front of MSU's Abbott Hall to catch CATA's Route 22. The #22 bus will travel to the shelters on Shaw Lane across from MSU's Planetarium. Stay on the bus as it will continue as Route 23 which will get you closest to the East Campus facility. Ride Route 23 to the bus stop on Service Road between the Clinical Center and Hagadorn Road. Get off the bus and walk across Hagadorn. Turn right and head south to Eyde Parkway. Follow this road back (east) for several blocks to the East Campus building.
Students who work or live in Meridian Township can get curb-to-curb service within the township, which includes LCC's East Campus. To make arrangements, call CATA's Meridian Redi-Ride service at 517-394-2282 at least 4 hours in advance of your trip time. Redi-Ride does not serve MSU campus.
- $1.25 for regular fare
- $0.60 discounted fare for students, Medicare cardholders, seniors and persons with disabilities.
- Discounted bus passes are also available for purchase at the Parking Services counter in the Gannon Building.
Zone 2 fares (when boarding Route 3 in Delta Township)
- $2.50 for regular fare
- $1.25 for discounted fare.
