Accelerated Nursing Program Option

Lansing Community College is excited to share information about a new program that is being submitted to the Michigan Board of Nursing (MBON) for approval. LCC is the recipient of a WIRED Grant to develop an Accelerated Second Degree RN (ASD-RN) program, proposed to begin
in summer 2007. The first step in the multi-step approval process is to provide supporting documents to the MBON to expand the program with
a new delivery mode.

Prospective students who are eligible for admission into the program will be required to submit application with interest by December 1st.  All the same prerequisites to the traditional and alternate programs apply. The only difference is that the prospective student must currently hold a Bachelors Degree. Full-time instruction will be provided over a period of
12-16 months including online methodology and face-to-face instruction.
