2014Mental Health & Aging Conference

The 2014 Michigan Mental Health & Aging will be held on May 6 & 7 at the Kellogg Center on the campus of Michigan State University.

Workshop topics include: ethical issues, anxiety disorders, assessing capacity, brain dysfunction in psychiatric and neurological disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, life review and reminiscence, cultural competence, self-determination, CBT for depression, neuropsychological testing, person-centered assessment, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse, OBRA, motivational interviewing, and DSM-V.

Continuing education credits are available for social workers and nurses.

CMH staff responsible for PASRR evaluations may obtain reimbursement for all conference-related costs through the regular PASRR billing process.
