The Test

The Calculus Placement Test is a paper
and pencil test.
-
There are 19 items on the test.
-
It is a test of college-level
algebra and trigonometry skills and applications.
-
A scientific calculator is provided
for use during the test.
-
This test can result in a Math
Basic Skill Level 8. To earn this level, you must
first earn a Math Level 7 from the
College Level Math Placement Test.
Then, you must score at least 10 on this test to earn a
Level 8.
If a student earns a Math Basic Skill
Level of 6 or higher, he or she may be eligible to take courses
offered by the Math and Computer
Science Department.
