Math 050 Pre-algebra
III. COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course integrates algebra rules and concepts with those of arithmetic. Topics include integers, fractions, decimals, percents, ratios, proportions, U.S. and metric measurements, statistical graphs, Pythagorean Theorem, perimeter, area, volume, algebraic expressions plus translating and solving equations. Problem solving and reasoning skills are taught. Real-life applications are throughout the course.
