Math 050 Course Information

Course Description

MATH 050 covers a variety of algebraic topics in an application-oriented environment.  Preparation for further math and math related courses is emphasized throughout.

Passing MATH 050 with a grade of 2.0 or better will allow enrollment into any course that requires a Math Basic Skill Level of 4

As mentioned above, these are packaged in CD format with a new copy of the textbook.

Calculator:  The use of a Texas Instruments TI 30XIIS  scientific calculator is required; a TI-83 plus Silver Edition, TI-83 plus, TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculators may also be used but are not recommended.
