001 Course Information
Course Description
MATH 001 is a .5 credit, one-day workshop, for students at any level of mathematics. This workshop is highly recommended if you:
- feel insecure about doing math

need help and encouragement to succeed in the mathematics required for your goals
The workshop has four components:
- Reducing math anxiety
- Improving math study skills
- Problem solving techniques
- Problem solving lab
Small group work is incorporated throughout the session, and materials are provided to help you put the ideas and techniques you learn into practice in your math classes.
