Welcome to Mathematical Skills

Our Math Courses
Learn more about the courses we teach -- MATH 050, MATH 107, and MATH 112 -- and our one-day workshop on math anxiety, MATH 001.
Arithmetic Boost Program
A non-credit self-study program designed to help students work towards a Math Level 3 by refreshing their knowledge of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
What is a Learning Lab?
A flexible learning system for MATH 050, 107 and 112 that emphasizes self-directed learning with individual instruction as needed. Learning Labs operate like the Math Lab, only on a smaller scale. You will choose a section that meets on specific days and times. Sections are available both on and off campus. Each sections has one instructor and up to 22 students. You will get your assignments, read the textbook, and do your homework. When you have a question or difficulty, you can get individual help from your instructor. Learning Labs provide opportunities to take tests over to raise your grade, to accelerate your studies and start the next course in the same semester, and to repeat a course starting where you left off.
