Scholarship Information for Future Teachers

Don’t miss out on a career that is your passion, just because you think you can’t afford it.  A little bit of research on your part can
be very profitable!  The list provided here includes just a few of the many awards available to you thru LCC, your transfer school
and other organizations.  Not included are the many churches, businesses and community groups that may offer financial
assistance to students who are members or related to members of those organizations.

Note:

  • You should never have to pay a fee to apply for a scholarship.

  • Scholarship awards are often posted for a limited period of time.  For example, the application for a scholarship due
in March may not be available until January or February.

  • Most college/university awards are renewable.

Please help keep this information sheet accurate and up to date by submitting your corrections/additions to the Office of Teacher Preparation, Arts and Sciences Bldg. room 110, (517) 483-1015 or jeffris@lcc.edu.
