Application to the LCC>CMU 3+1 Program
Anyone interested in this program must:

Complete an academic plan for LCC and
CMU courses.

Apply for admission to Central
Michigan University Off Campus Programs at least nine months prior
to transfer. For more information about admission, visit their
website at
www.cel.cmich.edu.
Note: CMU will admit students to their portion of the program in
a Spring semester only. See the
Cohort III Timeline for
application deadlines for CMU classes beginning in Spring 2009.

Apply for admission to Central
Michigan University’s Education program in the College of Education
and Human Services in the Spring semester prior to transfer. Special
applications for the Lansing program will be available online at
www.ehs.cmich.edu/css by the end of the year.
Requirements
for admission include:

Successful
completion of the basic skills portion of the Michigan Test for
Teacher Certification (MTTC),
www.mttc.nesinc.com

A grade of
3.0 in EDUC 220 and WRIT 121 or WRIT/ENGL 122
-
Completion
of SPCH 120 or 130, MATH 112, and EDUC 201 or equivalent.

Overall GPA
of 2.7 or better
