The Liberal Studies
Academic Resource Center (LS ARC) serves the academic needs of students by providing
an environment that is conducive to studying and applied learning. The Center provides access to computers with course specific software,
physical models, lab equipment, tutorial services and space for group
and individual work.
Hours for Fall 2008
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 9:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm
Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm
The ARC is closed between semesters.

Services

LS ARC Tutors
Tutoring is
available in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science, Physics,
Computer Science, Math, Statistics, and Speech. All tutoring is provided on a drop-in basis.
Tutor Schedules
are also available at the Distribution Center. Schedules are
subject to change. |

Computers
The
LS ARC features computers for interactive learning. Internet access,
e-mail, word processing, and various subject-specific software are
available. |

Space
Multiple tables
are available for group or individual use. |

Distribution Center
Materials, such as
books, slides, models and software, are available to check-out at
the Distribution Center. Students must have a StarCard to
check-out materials. There is a one hour time limit on all
materials checked-out. Materials may not be removed from the LS ARC.
In addition, all printing from the computers comes out at the
Distribution Center.
