Advertising Guidelines

• Payment for ads running three issues or less are due in full, prior to the publication deadline for the first ad being run.

• Payments for ads running beyond three issues requires the same three-issue payment in full prior to publication, with subsequent ads being billed upon publication. Payments for those ads are due 30 days after publication.

• Advertising contracts are required for all display advertising in The Lookout.

• Any advertiser who has already established credit with The Lookout by paying for advertising within the past two years will be billed upon publication. Payments will be due within 30 days of publication.

• $10 typographical charge will be assessed for special services. These services include ad design, art work, photographic services, reverses, etc.

• Political advertising must identify the sponsor(s) and must be prepaid.

• The Lookout reserves the right to refuse any advertisement which reflects discrimination, or which does not meet the standards observed by the newspaper and its staff.

• COLOR available: 1 color - $42.50; 4 color - $85.
• Size of page is 16 inches high by 10 inches wide; business card ads are 2 inches high by 3 1/4 inches wide.
• National ad rate $17 per column inch. No discounts. (Column inches are one inch high by 1.5 inches wide.)

Classified Advertising

Classified ads for a single issue are $8.50 for 20 words or less, and 50 cents for each additional word.

2009-10 Publication Schedule

• All deadlines are NOON. Color space reservations are due two weeks before publication date.
