Remember, to get help selecting a research database, click on
Databases on the Library's website. Then select a subject
category from the Subjects dropdown menu.
If
you need business articles, go to the
Business / Economics subject category and select a title from
the list of research database titles. Similarly, for science
information, select Science from the Subjects dropdown menu.
Now
you know how to search General OneFile.
What about other research databases? Won't they look different?
Yes. But once you've learned the basics, it will be like driving a
car you've borrowed from a friend. You know that there's a switch to
turn on the lights or the radio—you
just need to locate the controls. Even though they may look
different, many research databases have similar features. Check for
help screens or ask a librarian.
