The instructor or faculty substitute must be present during the instruction session.  Otherwise the session will be cancelled.

Students retain more from a library instruction session when the instructor is present and if it is scheduled at a time during the semester when research and library use is necessary to complete an assignment. A session will also be cancelled when a class is more than 15 minutes late.

Please note that the students and faculty must log in to the college network with their LCC Technology User ID (TUID) and password in order to participate in the hands-on portion of the instruction session.

General library instruction sessions cover basic library use information, the library computer catalog, and online periodical databases.  World Wide Web instruction is also available when requested.
