S.O.S. the Library (Website) for Citation Help

We hear that KnightCite (http://webapps.calvin.edu/knightcite/) from Calvin College is good, free citation software that many students are using.

However, LCC librarians still get many requests for help formatting citations according to MLA or APA style. We?re happy to assist your students in person and we?ve also developed handouts with examples of both MLA and APA citation; and in-text references. These handouts are available both in the library and online.

To access the online handouts click here, or follow this path:

  1. Go to the library?s homepage at: www.lcc.edu/library.
  2. Click on Research Help.
  3. Click on Research Guides.
  4. Scroll to the section titled ?Citing Sources.?
  5. Click on the handout title of your choice.

NEW CITATION WEBPAGE: There is a new library webpage called Citing Sources (MLA and APA). This page features citing tips and additional citation examples, including newer sources such as podcasts and blogs.
