Integrating the Library into ANGEL

As an instructor, you can use your ANGEL course site to give students easy access to high-quality resources.

Add a Library Box

LCC Library has created a Library box which provides students with:

• links to research guides, citation handouts, and help from librarians
• a way to search for books, articles, and course reserves in ANGEL

You can add the Library box to either your course homepage and/or the Resources tab.

Use the Library Learning Object Repository (LOR)

LCC Library has a Learning Object Repository (LOR) set up in ANGEL to allow you to easily add links to many library resources such as research guides, popular databases, and citing sources guides, as well as library research and plagiarism tutorials.

Create Your Own Links to Resources

The Library LOR allows you to add links to a folder in the Lessons tab of an ANGEL course site. If you want to add library links to a different tab or if you do not find the resource you are looking for in the Library LOR, you can set up your own links to the resources below:

• Articles from Journals, Magazines, or Newspapers
• Films on Demand
• LINKS, a library research tutorial
• Research Databases
• Ask a Librarian
• Research Guides
• Citing Sources: MLA & APA
• Research Tutorials

Make the Library a Tab in ANGEL

Give your students easy access to the Library by changing an ANGEL tab to the Library.
