How to Enable Cookies
To access library periodical databases or netLibrary (e-books) from off-campus,
cookies must be enabled on your browser.
Below are directions for enabling cookies for
Firefox, Internet Explorer and Netscape: |
Firefox 2.x
Firefox defaults to accept all cookies. To check cookie settings:
1. Click on Tools. 2. Click on Options. 3. Click on Privacy. 4. Make sure that "Accept cookies from sites" is selected. 5. Click on OK.
Firefox 1.x Firefox defaults to accept all cookies. To check cookie settings:
1. Click on Tools. 2. Click on Options. 3. Click on Privacy, if the Privacy panel is not open. 4. Click on the plus (+) sign to the left of Cookies. 5. Make sure that "Allow sites to set cookies" is checked. 6. Click on OK.
Internet Explorer 7.x
1. Select Tools. 2. Select Internet Options. 3. Select the Privacy tab. 4. Move the slider to Low or Medium. 5. Click on OK.
Internet Explorer 6.x 1.
Click on Tools. 2. Select Internet Options. 3.
Click on the Privacy tab. 4.
Move the slider until "Accept all cookies" displays. 5.
Click on OK.
Netscape 8.1 1. Click on Tools. 2. Click on Options. 3. Select Site Controls. 4. Click on the Site List tab. 5. Under Web Features, select "Allow Cookies." 6. Click on OK.
Netscape 7.x and 6.x 1.
Click on Edit. 2. Select Preferences. 3.
Click on the triangle to the left of Privacy & Security. 4.
Click on Cookies. 5.
Click on the radio button next to
"Enable all cookies" or "Accept cookies normally." 6.
