Study Rooms

The LCC library has over 40 study rooms that can be booked online for student and staff use. These rooms are equipped with the technology and software that students need to succeed. Check out the information below to learn about our online room booking, multimedia and group study rooms.

Multimedia Rooms

Multimedia rooms are designed for one or two students to have a quiet study space. Located on the 2nd floor of the TLC building, each room has a computer and many have additional equipment such as scanners, televisions connected to LCC's AMX media system and VCR's. Group Study Rooms

Group Study rooms are designed for groups of two to four students to study collaboratively. Located on all three floors of the library, some group study rooms are equipped with computers. Follow the link above to go to the catalog listing of all group study rooms available in the library.

How to Book a Room

There are three ways to reserve a room at the library: online, by phone or in person. Follow the link above to learn how to book a room online.

To book a room by phone, please call the Multimedia desk during library hours at (517) 483-1654. Please note that all bookings must be made at least one day prior to the desired booking time.

To book a room in person, please visit the Multimedia desk, in the library on the 2nd floor of the TLC building. Please note that all bookings must be made at least one day prior to the desired booking time.

This is a list of all the programs available on our Multimedia Room Computers. With over 90 programs installed and dozens of programs available on reserve, the LCC library is committed to offering students and staff the latest and most relevant software.
