Tutor Schedules for Fall 2009


MATH & COMPUTER SCIENCE TUTORING *

Group study and tutoring are available at the Math Help Desk in the LS ARC. All tutoring is provided by Math Instructors. This free service is available to students enrolled in self-contained lecture courses with a prefix of MATH on a walk-in basis. Students enrolled in self-contained sections will not receive assistance at the Math Lab (A&S 309).

SCIENCE TUTOR SCHEDULES

Biology (BIOL)

Anatomy & Physiology - Anatomy models, books, and slides
are on reserve. Additionally, skeletons, cats, torso man, computer programs, and many posters are available.

Biology - Microscopes, slides, texts, lab manuals, and student study guides are on reserve for students in Biology, Botany, and Zoology. There is a reptile tank and a salt water tank where marine algae can be observed.

Physics (PHYS), Astronomy (ASTR), Integrated Science (ISCI)

Solution manuals for textbooks, instructor materials and answer keys are on reserve. The LSARC is an ideal place for group study or working on laboratory reports. Computers are available for work on experiments and reports. Internet access can be used to find information or to access the Web pages for physics courses and faculty.
