Summer Bridge Program

2015 Summer Bridge Field Trips

The C3R Summer Bridge Program is an initiative of the Coalition for College and Career Readiness, designed to strengthen core college skills, address gaps in academic reading and math, and build student confidence. Upon successful completion of the program students will receive up to 8 college credits. Additionally students will learn about the campus, campus resources, and visit at least one university.

The Summer Bridge Program will be held from June 06 - August 15, 2016. Classes will be held Monday thru Thursday from 9:10am - 1:00pm on the LCC main campus and two (2) Off-Campus Learning Centers!

Seating is limited for this program, it is important that you contact Elaine Miles by May 23, 2016 to reserve a seat for the orientation. Prior to June 6, 2016 students must complete the following steps:

  1. Graduate from high school with a diploma
  2. Complete a LCC admissions application and select summer semester
  3. Complete assessment testing or have attained satisfactory ACT and or SAT scores
  4. Attend the mandatory Summer Bridge Orientation. Light refreshments will be served and students will register for classes
  5. Pay $25 course fee - due at orientation
