Goal Setting

  • Set your goals and write them down.

    • Check to see that your goals are compatible.

    • Check to see that your goals are obtainable yet challenging.

  • Select a target date for reaching your goals.

  • Make plans on how you will achieve your goals.

  • Break down your plans into realistic small steps with intermediate target dates for completion.

  • Celebrate your achievements and reward yourself in small but meaningful ways.

  • Keep a list of your accomplishments.

  • Regularly review your to-do list and the list of what you have accomplished so far.

  • If you are not achieving the progress you had hoped, review your plan and adjust your steps and deadlines.

Remember to hang in there and keep working toward your goals!
