LCC benefit plans are created in collaboration with the seven collective bargaining units and are designed to provide health and security to our employees and their families. The purpose of the dependent eligibility audit is to ensure that LCC is providing benefits to eligible employee dependents. Eligibility audits help to ensure our records are up to date with your dependents and that we have the required documentation on file.
Please know that employee participation and cooperation in the dependent benefits eligibility audit is valued and very much appreciated. Human Resources understands that a dependent eligibility audit requires employees to provide documentation that may not be readily at hand. An audit of this magnitude is not undertaken lightly, and is something that will be done every 2 years to ensure our records are accurate. This dependent eligibility audit does not replace any request for documentation that you may receive from MESSA, Assure Care, or HAN - our medical, dental, and vision providers.
