Stage Technology Curriculum

STAGE TECHNOLOGY:  Apprenticeship
An Apprenticeship, leading to a Certificate of Completion from the U.S. Department of Labor and a Journeyman's Certificate from the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (I.A.T.S.E.), ideal for student's planning a career as a professional stagehand, or a skilled trade before continuing their education.

STAGE TECHNOLOGY:  Associate Degree
An Associate of Applied Arts in Stage Technology for those students planning to transfer to a four-year institution and pursue additional degrees in areas such as Theatrical Design, Communications, Media Technology and Engineering.

STAGE TECHNOLOGY:  Certificate of Achievement
A Certificate of Achievement, geared toward individuals interested in an entry-level position in the industry, community service in schools, theatres and churches, or the possibility of continuing toward another degree or apprenticeship certification.

Course Offerings

Many of the Performing Arts courses are offered at LCC throughout the academic year and can be taken to upgrade current skills or fulfill degree, certificate and transfer requirements.
