Arialink is an Internet Service Provider available to LCC's employees, retired employees, Trio and Lucero students. It's free of charge; however, we cannot provide technical support for Arialink.   This page provides answers to some of the frequently asked questions regarding Arialink.

How to Request a Arialink Account

  • Current LCC Employees

    Current LCC employees can request an account by following the steps below:

1. Log into Star Port.

2. Click the My Place tab.

3. Click the link for HR and Finance Request Forms from the Work Links portlet. 
            
                  
Work Links will open in a new window for your convenience.

4. Click the Systems Access tab.

5. Select the desired Routing Request

6. Click the Request Access button.

                     You will be prompted to provide more information.

·                                  Fill in all information requested.

·                                  Please note that a time delay of up to 24 hours may occur before your account is fully created.

You may check the status of your request by returning to the Systems Access Request page, and view the “status” field. If you have any questions, please call the Help Desk at 483-5221

 

 

User Name and Password Information

Your Arialink user name will be your Technology User Id.  

When configuring your Arialink account on your computer you must include the domain name with is @lcc.edu

For Example:  tuid@lcc.edu

Your password will be the same password you use for Star Port.

How to change your Arialink dial in Number

Your Arialink account can be used throughout Michigan; however, to avoid long distance it may be necessary for you to change the dial in to a number that local to where you calling from. 

To change your Arialink Dial in Number:

  1. Go to your Start menu

  2. Click on Control Panel

  3. Double click on Network and Dial up Connections

  4. You should see your Arialink connection listed here.  Double click on it.

  5. Click Properties

  6. The dial up connection properties window should now be displayed with the General Tab selected.  Within this window you will be able to replace the existing dial in number.
