How do I get a new computer for my office?
Discuss your request with your Divisional Operations Leader. All requests for computer upgrades start with the Divisional Operations Leaders. Since they have a better understanding of whether upgrades are needed, they are the first level of approval. The Divisional Operations Leader completes and approves an electronic upgrade request form. It is then passed on to ITS for final approval.
How long will it take to get an upgrade?
ITS prioritizes its work as follows: Fixing computers that are broken is the highest priority. Installing computers for new employees who do not have a computer is the second priority. A computer that must be upgraded to support a college initiative is the third priority. Finally, general computer upgrades are the lowest priority. ITS upgrades approximately 50 computers per month.
