ANGEL Training Opportunities
ANGEL Training Sessions can be completed through an online (self-paced) training or by attending a face-to-face training session offered prior to the beginning of each semester.
These training sessions are not required but are strongly recommended for students who are taking an online or lecture/Internet course for the first time or for those who want to learn more about ANGEL.
Online ANGEL Training - Available 24/7
The online training, Student technology Training , is a free self-paced training in ANGEL designed to allow students to learn about the many features of the ANGEL learning system. Every LCC student who is enrolled in at least one course will find student Technology Training listed as a course on their MyLCC Page. The training includes online lectures, tutorials and exercises for students to complete.
Following are directions for currently enrolled students to access the Student Technology Training:

Go to the LCC home page (www.lcc.edu).

Click on the Star Port login button on the LCC home page.

Log into Star Port using your TUIDand password.

Select Electronic Course Content Delivery (ANGEL) from the LCC eToolBox on the left side of the screen.

Select Student Technology Training from the My Courses module.
Face-to-Face ANGEL Training
The face-to-face ANGEL Training sessions are for students taking online or lecture/Internet courses and are held during the first week of each semester at the LCC Main Campus. The sessions provide training on the features of ANGEL, information from an online instructor and technical support. The sessions are an hour and a half in length and are offered in the morning, afternoon and evening. Students who register for an online or lecture/Internet course will be sent a letter and email prior to the beginning of the semester with specific information and registration details.
