The Herrmann home (constructed in 1893 for
John T. Herrmann, a local tailor) was acquired by the college in
1967 for use as a faculty conference center. The center was
designated as a historical site in 1987. The first floor is used
primarily for meetings and special gatherings. The Employee Wellness
offices are housed on the second floor.
