Quota Policy
A 200 megabyte (MB) quota is imposed on all Course Management System course sites, as well as a 500MB quota on all Course Management System Learning Object Repositories (LOR), in order to maintain the highest level of functionality. As a result of this policy:
- Instructors whose courses are 150MB or larger will be notified by eLearning that they are approaching their quota limit.
- Once a course reaches (or exceeds) the 200MB limit, or the 500MB for an LOR, no new content will be able to be added to the course. This includes student submissions to the drop box as well as content that instructors may try to upload.
- Both students and instructors will continue to have access to the course and LOR content and students can complete assignments, even if the course and/or LOR is over quota.
