Early LCC Summer Camp
June 11 - August 29, 2012
Monday - Friday
7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
For children who have completed K or 1st grade
(5-8 years old)
Early LCC Summer Camp features a variety of individual or small group activities: sports, arts and crafts, drama and music. Campers will also have opportunities to explore activities such as woodworking, gardening and cooking, or just relaxing with a favorite book.
We are out in the community each week. Several full day trips throughout the summer - to the Potter Park Zoo, Impression 5 Museum and other popular locations - are big adventures. Weekly trips around town may include bowling, indoor ice skating or a stop at the MSU Dairy following a fun afternoon in a local park.
What Makes Us Different?
Program Focus
Our program is based on the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education
which builds upon the interests of the children through projects and
collaborative group work.
Flexible Scheduling
Families may choose as few as three different weeks to attend and may select
individual days instead of full weeks as needed. Choose a schedule that works
best for you!
Our Staff
All of our teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid and we require experience
and training in early childhood education. We also require a high level of
maturity and enthusiasm!
Enrollment and Fees
Tuition covers the full cost of the program - no extra fees for field trips or
other activities:
- LCC Student Rate: $120/week; $24/day
- Non-LCC Student Rate: $170/week; $34/day
- Early registration deadline is April 27, 2011
Early LCC Summer Camp is an Allergy Aware program
Children may not share food from home and we do not serve foods with nuts or nut oils.
