Through up-close encounters in the classroom and outdoors, guided by a life-long naturalist, learn about a host of small neighborhood wild creatures that can be found in the spring. Learn the unique ways that different frogs, turtles, snakes, squirrels, birds, and insects survived the cold climate and revive during the spring. Watch garter snakes suck down worms, frogs gobble up crickets, and more things eating other things too. These subjects are sometimes beautiful, often gross, and always fascinating.
