NCCE 700 Living with Loss and Grief
Prerequisite: None
There is help to cope with loss and grief. Learn valuable tools to help you
or someone close to you find ways to live with loss. In part one, we will
address skills needed to rebuild your life using various strategies such as
confidence building practices and decision making skills. We will discuss
how to develop a support system for you or your friend that is useful. In
part two, we will examine what is helpful for bereaved people, what to do
and say initially as well as what to do and say over time. Lastly, we will
attempt to define what NOT to do and say to assist those suffering a
significant loss.. Cost of this seminar is $35.
