The LCC A+ Summer College Program provides a hands-on approach to learning for motivated students entering grades 2-8 in the fall. With a variety of A+ Summer College classes available, students are sure to find something that captures their imagination. Opportunities include classes in math and science, foreign language and communication, art, drama, computers, and athletics. Classes offered previously include: Daring Design, Robotics & Rocketry, Art Exploration, Comic Book Illustration, Chinese Language and Culture, Entomology, Mysterious Magic, Auto Design w/U4IA and CAD ‘N Fashion. 

A+ Summer College classes are one week long and are held throughout the summer at LCC East in East Lansing.

GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) classes provide enrichment opportunities for students in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties who have given evidence of potential in the visual or performing arts, science, and technology, as well as for students who have outstanding academic ability.
