The Lansing Community College A+ Summer College Program offers a wide range of student-centered learning opportunities. Classes are designed to incorporate hands-on, minds-on activities for children entering grades 2 - 8 in the fall. With a variety of A+ Summer College classes available, students are sure to find something that captures their imagination. Opportunities include classes in math and science, foreign language and communication, art, nature, computers, and athletics. Our goal is to provide students with experiences that will enrich their lives as they develop special interests in an atmosphere where they often can apply classroom learning to real-life situations.

Classes previously offered include: Daring Design, Robotics & Rocketry, Art Exploration, Comic Book Illustration, Chinese Language and Culture, Entomology, Mysterious Magic, Auto Design w/U4IA and CAD 'N Fashion. A+ Summer Youth Programs have limited student enrollment. There is an average student/instructor ratio of approximately 12:1 in sports camps and 16:1 in classroom activities. Early registration is recommended to guarantee course availability.
