Susan has taught upper elementary through the college level. Originally
from Pennsylvania, Susan taught elementary school on the Pine Ridge
Indian Reservation in South Dakota and in Colorado before attending the
Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. She worked as a free-lance
illustrator for several years.
Susan moved with her husband and children to the Lansing area in 2005
and has been an instructor with Lansing Community College (LCC) since
2006. She is currently an instructor in Extension and Community
Education's A+ Summer Youth Program.
Aside from LCC, Susan teaches drawing and design courses for the Art
Institute of Pittsburgh, Online Division. She holds a BS in Education,
BFA in Illustration, and a MA Degree.
